Terms Of Service

MealMint helps you save recipes, import public recipe pages, organize pantry items, plan meals, build shopping lists, and share recipes with the community. You may use MealMint only in accordance with these Terms and applicable law.

You keep ownership of recipes, notes, Markdown instructions, links, image references, images, comments, lists, and other content you add to MealMint. You grant MealMint a limited license to host, store, copy, process, display, search, and transmit your content as needed to provide and improve the service.

If you make content public, you allow MealMint to display it to other users and allow those users to save, favorite, copy, or interact with it through MealMint features. If you mark content as subscriber-only, you allow MealMint to display limited previews and restrict full access to active subscribers. Public profile details may be displayed alongside recipes you share with the community.

MealMint can import recipes from public URLs you provide. You are responsible for ensuring that you have the right to save, use, and share imported content. MealMint may store extracted recipe text, public page metadata, and imported cover images to provide the import feature.

Imports may be incomplete or inaccurate because public pages differ in structure and because automated extraction is imperfect. You should review imported recipes before relying on them.

Community features may let users share recipes, save public recipes, rate, vote, follow, and comment. Public recipe pages and public profile details attached to them may be accessible to visitors who are not logged in and may be indexed by search engines. Community discovery may filter by public recipe tags and rank recipes using freshness, popularity, follows, and public recipe interactions. We may remove or restrict content or accounts that violate these Terms, create legal risk, or harm the service or community.

MealMint may let users enable creator profiles, set a free or paid monthly subscription price, choose subscriber-only preview settings, and share subscriber-only recipes. Subscribers receive access while their subscription is active and in good standing. Access may end if a free subscription is canceled or if a paid subscription is canceled, paused, past due, refunded, charged back, or otherwise not recognized as active by Paddle or MealMint.

Paid subscription payments are processed by Paddle. You agree to provide accurate billing information to Paddle and to comply with Paddle terms that apply to checkout and payment management. Subscription prices, taxes, processor fees, refunds, chargebacks, and payout timing may affect creator payout amounts.

Creator payout figures shown in MealMint are estimates before final reconciliation unless we state otherwise. We may withhold, adjust, or reverse payout amounts to account for refunds, disputes, fraud, legal requirements, taxes, processor fees, platform fees, or policy violations.

Users may report public or subscriber-only content for review. We may review reports, inspect related content and account information, restrict access, remove content, suspend accounts, or take other action needed to protect users, comply with law, and enforce these Terms.

MealMint may store diet notes, recipe information, and nutrition-related content, but it is not medical, dietary, or allergy advice. You are responsible for checking ingredients, allergens, cooking safety, and nutrition information before preparing or consuming food.

MealMint may rely on third-party services for hosting, storage, email, search, AI-assisted extraction, public page fetching, and payment processing through Paddle. Third-party websites, imported source pages, and payment processor services are not controlled by MealMint. Their terms and policies apply to their services and content.

We may add, change, suspend, or remove features. We may also limit access to features if needed for security, reliability, legal compliance, or abuse prevention.

You may stop using MealMint at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms, create risk for other users, or expose MealMint to legal or security risk. Termination does not remove obligations that by their nature should continue, including ownership, disclaimers, limitations of liability, and dispute terms.

MealMint is provided on an as-is and as-available basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, uninterrupted availability, and error-free operation.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, MealMint will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost data, or service interruption. Where liability cannot be excluded, it will be limited to the amount you paid to use MealMint during the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim, or 100 USD if you paid nothing.

These Terms are governed by the laws applicable where MealMint is operated, without regard to conflict of laws rules, unless consumer protection laws require a different result.

We may update these Terms from time to time. The updated date shows when the Terms were last revised. Continued use of MealMint after changes become effective means you accept the updated Terms.
