This Takedown Policy explains how rights holders and authorized parties can ask MealMint to remove public recipes imported from a specific website URL and prevent that URL from being imported again.
Submit requests through the form on this page or email privacy@mealmint.net with the same information. We review good-faith requests and may ask for additional verification before taking action.
What You Can Request
- Removal of public MealMint recipes imported from a specific original recipe page URL.
- Blocking that website URL from being imported again through MealMint imports, including the browser extension.
- Review of related public community copies tied to the same source URL.
Who Can Submit
You may submit a request if you are the copyright owner, an authorized representative, the website publisher, or another party with legal authority to request removal of the content.
Information To Include
- Your name and contact email.
- Your relationship to the content.
- The exact public recipe page URL you want removed and blocked from reimport.
- A clear explanation of why the URL should be removed, including ownership or authorization details.
- Enough information for MealMint to identify the affected content.
What Happens After You Submit
- MealMint reviews the request and may contact you for clarification or verification.
- If we approve the request, we may unpublish public recipes imported from that URL, remove them from community discovery, and add the URL to a blocked-source list.
- Once a URL is blocked, MealMint will reject new imports from that URL, including attempts to reuse a public community copy of the same source link.
- Private copies already saved in individual user libraries may remain unless separate legal process requires additional action.
Misuse And Counter-Notices
Do not submit false, misleading, or bad-faith takedown requests. MealMint may reject abusive requests and may suspend accounts that misuse reporting or takedown tools.
If you believe content was removed in error, contact us with supporting information so we can review the decision.
Related Policies
Takedown requests are handled alongside MealMint content reports and moderation under the Terms of Service and Privacy Policy. MealMint may also act on reports submitted from individual recipe pages.
